You don’t have a cornfield out back?.
We have this 10k loop that we do every once in awhile and every time I’m on it I always think to myself “Self, you know who might appreciate this beautiful rural landscape? My blog buddies, of course.”.

Then, I realize I forgot my camera, again..So this time I got my act together to show you.Plus, I can never resist a good cornfield picture.. About halfway through our loop, we always stop at this bridge that’s been closed to cars for a number of years now.

This road isn’t used much any more, so it’s more just a wide gravel path..The bridge crosses over what we call “The Big Creek”..

There isn’t much to the bridge any more.. We stand there and drink our water and look at the pretty countryside.
Chris usually makes some smart alek comments. He suggests going with a little bit of a better quality on all your finishes and focus on durability, going with hardwood or tile over carpet for example.
If you do choose carpet, think about things like carpet tile, that can have just a small section replaced..He also made a great point about the kind of tenants you will attract.
Basically, a better finished space will attract better tenants, and make for a more enjoyable renting experience for everyone involved..Since I now live in a small town, I wanted to know a little about how you might approach an income property differently in a small town versus the big city.
